  • Data that has been extracted or digitally translated by the Africa Data Hub: Please attribute to the original source via the Africa Data Hub. For example, data originally collected by the Kenya Bureau of Health Statistics that the Africa Data Hub has scraped and cleaned from PDFs and made available in spreadsheets would be cited as “Data supplied by Kenya Bureau of Health Statistics, extracted by the Africa Data Hub.” Please also provide the link to the dataset as available on Africa Data Hub’s data repository.
  • Data collected by the Africa Data Hub and its partners is attributed directly to the Africa Data Hub and its partners using the following statement, “This data was collected by [partner organisation] for the Africa Data Hub”. Please also provide the link to the dataset as available on Africa Data Hub’s data repository.

Data users should exercise caution when modifying data, ensuring that any changes are well-documented to distinguish them from the original dataset. Maintaining data integrity is of critical importance to the credibility of the dataset and any work that is derived thereof. It is advisable to periodically review Africa Data Hub for updates or changes that may affect your data usage.
