As part of this exciting conference, Patricia Andago was invited to speak on German international broadcaster, Deutsche Welle’s, Swahili conference coverage. She and other colleagues in the industry engaged on the discourse of the conference theme. She shared about how data can be key to overcoming divisions in the media landscape and the crucial role that the Africa Data Hub plays in this space. Patricia was interviewed alongside Nkirote Koome from Luminate (a Global Foundation that funds media innovation on the continent), Pius Paul from ITV (an independent broadcaster in Tanzania), and Thomas Japanni from Standard (a Kenyan multi media organisation).
