Africa Data Hub is excited to support Orodata Science as they launch a critical initiative to promote public health and improve healthcare data and services in our communities. To accomplish this, Orodata Science seeks dedicated and passionate individuals to join the team as Data Collection Volunteers. By volunteering your time and effort, you can contribute to generating credible and valuable data that will help shape better healthcare policies and practices in selected Primary Health Care centres in six (6) states in Nigeria.
About the Program:
The Frontline Data Collection Program is integral to Orodata Science’s mission to enhance primary healthcare centres' effectiveness across the selected six states. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to work closely with healthcare professionals, collect essential data, and gain valuable insights into public health challenges and opportunities. Your efforts will directly impact the lives of individuals in your community, making a difference in their well-being.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Visit designated primary health centres within the selected community.
- Conduct surveys and gather data from patients and healthcare providers.
- Ensure accurate and reliable data collection through careful documentation.
- Collaborate with other volunteers and healthcare staff to achieve program goals.
- Adhere to ethical standards and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
Qualifications:
- Be Nigerian citizens or legal residents.
- Have a passion for public health, data and a genuine interest in community well-being.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can follow guidelines and work independently.
- Prior experience in data collection or healthcare settings is preferred (but not required).
- Must be 21 years of age as of 1st of August 2023, enthusiastic, and reliable.
- Have an Android mobile phone with a minimum of 1GB RAM | 10GB Memory.
